Long Covid Killer
Welcome! Long Covid Killer is a 5 part series of short “exercise” videos to help you relieve symptoms of long covid in a way that is natural, practical, and fun.
These are not the kind of “exercises” you’ll find people doing at the gym. They use various forms of movement, breathwork, tapping, vibration. And the goal is not to get you fit, but to help you feel good in your body, right here, right now.
Using movement to heal is the opposite of moving to get fit; we need to re-learn how to relax deeply while moving, not develop as much tension as possible. We also need to tune into the the subtle aspect of the movement, your breath, and your emotions.
The program is free, you can donate if you like at any point, and sign up is below.
Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of exercises are these? They’re most likely different than what you’ve experienced in the past. The movement are based on the subtle energy pathways, or meridians, which deliver Qi, or life force, throughout the body-mind. When a pathway is obstructed, pathology follows. These movement are not meant to build muscle. They are energy medicine that unblock the subtle energy paths using touch, tapping, sound, and gentle movements.
How much does this program cost? The price is open mindedness and in investment of about twenty minutes a day for the next week. There is no financial cost, though you can donate to our project if you’d like.
What is the best way to follow this program? Just start with the first video, then continue on to the next. Modify the exercises so they feel good for you, practice with curiosity, and pay particular attention to your inner experience and sensations. Relax, breathe, and enjoy exploring your body and this practice.
How often should I do these exercises? Ideally, practice these movement for 20 minutes a day. It’s great to set out a particular time each day, perhaps as a morning routine or before you go to bed, or on your lunch break. Stick with it for at least 7 days. Additionally, practice opportunistically throughout the day, whenever the idea crosses your mind :-)
Do I need to get clearance from my doctor? Yes, absolutely, with any movement or exercise program you should make sure you are cleared for exercises.
Is there anything I should avoid when doing these exercises? Avoid holding your breath, trying too hard, creating excess tension in your body (especially your jaw, neck, and belly), and please do not apply the “no pain no gain” mindset to these energy medicine exercises.
I need more supervision, can I get some more intimate guidance please? Sure, shoot me a note at XYZ.COM.
Is there anything I should do before or after each practice session? It’s nice to check in with your symptoms before you practice, and then again when your done, to see if anythings shifted. Subtle shifts, over time, grow into radical changes.
