Core Floor Moves

 
 

Helping new mother’s learn how to nourish themselves.

 
 

These three movements are a wonderful way to reconnect the body, increase energy, decrease pain, and just plain feel better. The entire practice can be as quick as 5 minutes. The way you do the movements is important; do them with as much breath, pleasure, and curiosity as possible, and move as smoothly as possible. Synchronize the slow movements with a slow, deep breath. These can be practice daily, even twice per day, and are a great way to wake up the body before a workout, wind down from a long day, or gently ease into your day after waking up. It’s nice to do them on a firm but gentle surface, a yoga mat or thick carpet is perfect.

Working with Jonathan during my second pregnancy changed everything for me. I experienced very little back and sciatic pain this time! I learned to listen to my body and trust what it was telling me.
